Description

Atlatl darts are the only ammo that works with the eclipse atlatl in Old School RuneScape. The atlatl is a possible reward from the Lunar Chest in Neypotzli. These darts are a bit different from other ranged ammo. They have no bonuses of their own. Instead, the eclipse atlatl uses your melee strength bonus to deal damage. The darts still deal standard ranged damage.

Players can also craft atlatl darts. This takes level 74 Fletching. You attach atlatl dart tips to headless atlatl darts. Each action makes 20 darts and gives 190 XP. Ironmen also need 54 Slayer to get broken antlers, which are used to make the dart tips.

There are a few things to know. Atlatl darts cannot be loaded into the toxic blowpipe. They go in the ammo slot but cannot be stored in Dizana's quiver. They work with Ava's devices to save darts, but the Ranged strength bonus from those capes does not boost their damage. A Fire cape can be a better pick if saving darts is not a concern.

Atlatl darts are stackable, tradeable, and bankable. They weigh nothing, so they are easy to carry.
