Description
The Awakener's orb is an item in Old School RuneScape. It lets you fight the awakened versions of the Forgotten Four bosses from Desert Treasure II. These bosses are the Leviathan, the Whisperer, Vardorvis, and Duke Sucellus. You must finish the Desert Treasure II - The Fallen Empire quest before you can use an orb.
An awakened boss is a hard mode fight. The boss hits harder, has much higher stats, and gains stronger mechanics. Some bosses even get a new mechanic. Awakened bosses are also immune to stat drains, and the slayer helmet on-task boost does not work on them.
Each orb works one time only. It is used up when the fight starts, and it is not returned even if you win. When you use the orb, the game asks if you want to start the awakened fight.
The main reason to use these orbs is to kill all four awakened bosses. Doing this earns the ancient blood ornament kit, which turns Torva armour into cosmetic Sanguine torva armour. The Awakener's orb is tradeable on the Grand Exchange, so you can stock up for your attempts.
