The Barnacle blaster is a drink in Old School RuneScape. It is made from rum, lemon, and crushed barnacles. When a player drinks it, their Fishing level goes up by 1. This small boost can help a player reach a fishing spot or catch a fish that is just above their level.
The drink has a downside too. It lowers Sailing, Attack, Strength, and Defence. Each of those skills drops by 2% plus 2 levels. Because of this, it works best when a player only cares about Fishing at that moment.
When drunk, the game says the drink has a bit of a crunch to it. That crunch comes from the barnacles.
The Barnacle blaster is a members item. It can be traded to other players. It does not stack in the inventory, and it cannot be worn or equipped. It weighs 0.5 kg. In the game, it is sold by 'Squawking' Steve Beanie on The Pandemonium.
This drink is a good pick for players who want a quick Fishing boost and do not mind the drop to their combat and Sailing stats.
