Description
The black beret is a stylish hat in Old School RuneScape. It comes from Easy Treasure Trails, which are Level 1 clue scrolls. It gives no stat or armour bonuses. Players wear it just for looks. This is a members only item, and it weighs almost nothing at 0.04 kg.
Berets come in four colors: black, white, blue, and red. The black one is a classic pick for outfits and fashion sets. Its examine text reads "Parlez-vous francais?" which means "Do you speak French?"
The black beret can also be turned into a beret mask. To do this, take it and a mime mask to Patchy on Mos Le'Harmless, along with 500 coins. This requires the Cabin Fever quest and a book o' piracy.
When you are not wearing the beret, you can store it in the treasure chest of the Costume Room in a player-owned house. This keeps your bank space free. Just open the interface for the right clue tier first, or use the beret on the opened chest to store it right away.
