The Black helm (h3) is a helmet in Old School RuneScape. Players get it as a reward from easy Treasure Trails. It cannot be made with the Smithing skill, so clue scrolls are the only way it enters the game. It needs level 10 Defence to wear.
This helm has the same defence bonuses as a Black full helm. It gives +12 stab defence, +13 slash defence, +10 crush defence, and +12 ranged defence. It has a small -1 magic defence bonus. Like most metal helms, it lowers magic attack by 6 and ranged attack by 3.
