Description

The Boat bottle (empty) is a rare item in Old School RuneScape. It is a members-only item that lets you carry your boat with you. Use the Bottle-boat option to place your boat inside the bottle. Then you can walk to another port on land and release it there. This is a big help if your boat does not have a teleport focus built on it.

To bottle your boat, you must be at a docking point and your cargo hold must be empty. When you release the boat, the bottle is used up. Each bottle only works one time. If a bottle with a boat inside is destroyed, the boat is safe. You can get it back at a shipwright.

Boat bottles are a rare drop from sorting low-tier salvage from shipwrecks. They come from small salvage at level 15, fishy salvage at level 26, and barracuda salvage at level 35. The drop rates are low, so finding one on your own can take a long time.

The item is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs almost nothing at 0.02 kg. Its item ID is 31989.
