Description

Bone fragments are stackable items in Old School RuneScape. They are used to charge an imbued skull sceptre. Each fragment gives the sceptre one charge. Players get fragments by using a chisel on any piece of a regular skull sceptre.

The number of fragments from each piece depends on how much of the Varrock Diary a player has done. A full skull sceptre gives 14 fragments by default. It gives up to 30 fragments with the Elite diary done. Combined pieces give fragments equal to the sum of their parts. This works the same way in Free-to-play.

Bone fragments are tradeable and weigh nothing, so they are easy to hold in bulk. They are open to free-to-play players. Buying fragments saves time spent hunting sceptre pieces. The fastest drop method is killing level 12 minotaurs on the first sublevel of the Stronghold of Security, since they have low Hitpoints. Flesh Crawlers on the second sublevel are a low-effort option because they attack players of any combat level.
