Description
The Bracelet of clay is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. When you wear it, you mine soft clay instead of hard clay. This skips the step of adding water to your clay, which saves time.
Each bracelet lets you mine 28 soft clay before it disintegrates. You can check how many charges are left by equipping the bracelet and right-clicking "check". Charges are stored on your player, not the bracelet, so putting on a new one will not reset your count.
The bracelet is great for making magic tablets in a player-owned house. The Rimmington and Hosidius mines both have clay rocks and sit very close to a house portal. In the Trahaearn mine, the bracelet lets you mine two soft clay at once.
The bracelet is made by casting Lvl-1 Enchant on a sapphire bracelet, which needs level 7 Magic. Making the sapphire bracelet from scratch needs level 23 Crafting. It is tradeable and equipable, weighs 0.25 kg, and has no combat bonuses. Varrock armour also gives an extra soft clay when mining with the bracelet on.
