Description

The Crimson kisten is a two-handed axe weapon in Old School RuneScape. It drops from the Maggot King, a boss you can fight after finishing The Blood Moon Rises quest. To wield it, you need 60 Attack and 85 Strength.

This weapon hits hard and fast. It has a slash attack bonus of +80 and a strength bonus of +56. Its attack speed is 4 ticks, which is 2.4 seconds per swing. You can pick from four combat styles: Chop, Hack, Smash, and Block.

The special attack is called Brutal Swing, and it uses 50% of your special attack energy. It makes four accuracy rolls in one hit. If one roll lands, you deal 70 to 110% of your max hit. Each extra roll that lands adds 20% to the low and high end of the damage. With all four rolls, the hit deals 130 to 170% of your max hit.

The weapon is named after the kiscien, a one-handed medieval flail. It was first going to be called the crimson bludgeon, but players said it looked more like a flail, so the name was changed.
