Description
The Crystal armour seed is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is an elven crystal seed that can be sung into crystal armour at a singing bowl. In the game, these seeds drop from the Reward Chest in The Gauntlet at a rate of 1 in 120, or 1 in 50 from the Corrupted Gauntlet.
Players combine seeds with crystal shards to make armour. A crystal helm takes 1 seed and 50 shards and needs level 70 Crafting and Smithing. Crystal legs take 2 seeds and 100 shards at level 72. A crystal body takes 3 seeds and 150 shards at level 74. Making each piece also gives Crafting and Smithing XP.
Players who do not have the skill levels can ask Conwenna or Reese in Prifddinas to sing the armour for them. This costs 60 extra crystal shards per piece.
The seed has other uses too. Amrod in the Hefin Inn in Prifddinas will trade one seed for 250 crystal shards. Pennant in Prifddinas will swap it for one crystal acorn. This makes the Crystal armour seed a key item for any OSRS player who wants strong crystal gear.
