Description
The crystal weapon seed is an elven crystal item in Old School RuneScape. It is a members item that can be turned into powerful crystal gear. This seed is tradeable but cannot be worn or stacked.
The seed can be made into a crystal bow, a crystal shield, or a crystal halberd. The halberd needs the Hard Western Provinces Diary. Before the Song of the Elves quest, Ilfeen in Isafdar can turn the seed into a weapon for a fee. After the quest, players can sing the seed themselves at a singing bowl in Prifddinas. This needs 78 Crafting and 78 Smithing, plus 40 crystal shards. It gives 2,000 Crafting XP and 2,000 Smithing XP.
The seed has other uses too. Players can trade it to Amrod in the Hefin Inn for 10 crystal shards. They can also give it to Pennant for a crystal acorn, which grows into a crystal tree that yields 28 to 32 shards.
In the game, this seed drops from the Reward Chest in The Gauntlet. It can also be bought with Last Man Standing points. It is a great pick for players who want strong crystal weapons or extra crystal shards.
