Description

The Dark bow is a two-handed ranged weapon in Old School RuneScape. You need level 60 Ranged to wield it. It comes from a darker dimension and drops from dark beasts and night beasts. It fires two arrows with every attack and has a Ranged attack bonus of +95.

This bow is best known for its special attack. Descent of Darkness uses 55% of your special attack energy and deals up to 30% more damage, with a minimum of 5 damage per arrow. If you have dragon arrows equipped, the attack becomes Descent of Dragons. It deals up to 50% more damage with a minimum of 8 damage per arrow. This big hit makes the Dark bow a strong pick for player killing, since it can knock out opponents fast.

The bow has the maximum attack range of 10 tiles. It is the slowest weapon in the game, so most players save it for that huge special attack instead of normal training. You can also recolour it with dark bow paint from the Last Man Standing shop, with green, blue, yellow, and white options. A Dark bow imbue scroll can upgrade it for use in Daimon's Crater.
