Dharok's platebody is melee armour for the body slot in Old School RuneScape. It is part of Dharok the Wretched's Barrows set. You need 70 Defence to wear it.
This platebody gives strong melee defence. It has +122 Stab, +120 Slash, and +107 Crush defence bonuses. It also gives +132 Ranged defence. It lowers Magic attack by 30 and Ranged attack by 10.
Wear it with the full Dharok's set to unlock a special effect. Your attacks hit harder as your hitpoints drop. At 1 hitpoint with 99 max hitpoints, you can deal up to 98.9% bonus damage. This makes the set a top pick for big melee hits.
Like all Barrows gear, the platebody degrades as you fight. It lasts 15 hours of combat before it needs repair. It works just as well at every stage until it fully breaks. NPCs like Bob in Lumbridge can repair it for 90,000 coins. An armour stand in a player-owned house costs less, based on your Smithing level. At level 99 Smithing, the repair costs about 45,450 coins. The item can only be traded when fully repaired or fully broken.
