Description

Diamond bolts are adamant bolts tipped with diamond. They are members-only ammo for crossbows in Old School RuneScape. The bolts are tradeable, stackable, and easy to carry since they weigh nothing. Each bolt gives a ranged attack bonus of +105, making them the fourth strongest gem tipped bolt in the game.

Players with 57 Magic can enchant these bolts with the Enchant Crossbow Bolt spell. This turns them into diamond bolts (e), which have a special Armour Piercing effect. The effect has a 10% chance to trigger on each hit, or 5% against other players. When it triggers, the hit is a guaranteed success and the max damage goes up by 15%. With a Zaryte crossbow, that damage boost rises to 26%. A twinkling sound plays when the effect goes off. Players who finish the hard Kandarin Diary get an even better 11% trigger chance.

Diamond bolts can also be made with 65 Fletching by combining adamant bolts with diamond bolt tips. They are a strong pick for ranged combat, since the armour piercing effect helps land big hits on tough targets.
