The Dragon cannon barrel is a rare item in Old School RuneScape. It is one of the parts needed to build a dragon cannon on a boat. If you want a dragon cannon, you need this barrel.
In the game, this item drops from two sources. You can get it from opulent salvage, which needs level 87 and has a 1 in 20,000 chance. You can also get it from veiled krakens, which are level 210. Their drop rate is 1 in 500 or 1 in 250. Buying the barrel lets you skip that long grind.
Building the dragon cannon takes level 92 Construction and gives 1,857 XP. Along with the barrel, you need 4 rosewood planks, 16 dragon nails, and 8 dragon metal sheets.
The barrel weighs 12 kg. It is tradeable and noteable, but you cannot equip it or stack it. It has a Grand Exchange buy limit of 100 every 4 hours. The item ID is 32115. Its look is a recolour of the cannon barrel from the Cabin Fever quest. Get a Dragon cannon barrel and take the fast path to your own dragon cannon.
