Description

The dragon dagger is the second strongest dagger in Old School RuneScape. Only the abyssal dagger beats it. You need 60 Attack to wield it, and you must finish the Lost City quest first.

This weapon gives a +40 stab bonus, a +25 slash bonus, and a +40 strength bonus. It attacks fast, hitting once every 2.4 seconds. Like most daggers, it can be poisoned for extra damage.

The dragon dagger shines with its special attack, Puncture. It hits twice at once with 15% more accuracy and 15% more damage on each hit. It uses 25% of your special attack energy. Under normal combat conditions, each hit can deal up to 50 damage, for a total of 100. With poison or a Slayer helmet on a Slayer task, the total can go even higher.

Players call it the DDS, and it is a staple knock-out weapon in PvP fights. It is also a cheap choice for a high damage spec weapon in PvM. Dragon claws are often better, but they cost much more. If the special attack deals more damage than needed for a kill, you still get experience for the extra damage.
