Description

The dragon knife is the strongest throwing knife in Old School RuneScape. You need a Ranged level of 60 to wield it. It gives a +28 Ranged attack bonus and a +30 Ranged strength bonus. It weighs nothing, so it is easy to carry.

Dragon knives are fast. On the rapid style, you throw one every 1.2 seconds. The accurate style boosts your Ranged level by 3, and the longrange style adds 3 to Defence and extends your range to 6 tiles. Since it is a one-handed weapon, you can use a shield or god book at the same time for extra protection.

The knife has a special attack called Duality. It uses 25% of your special attack energy and throws two knives at once. Each knife rolls its own accuracy and damage, so you can hit twice in a single attack.

Dragon knives can be poisoned for extra damage over time. In the game, they drop from wyrms, drakes, and hydras, and they cannot be made with the Smithing skill. This makes them a great pick for players who want fast, strong ranged attacks.
