Description

Eye of newt is a Herblore ingredient in Old School RuneScape. It is a small item that is used to make attack potions. Mix one eye of newt with a guam potion (unf) at level 3 Herblore to make an attack potion and earn 25 XP. Mix one with an irit potion (unf) at level 45 Herblore to make a super attack potion and earn 100 XP.

One eye of newt is also needed for the Witch's Potion quest and the Recipe for Disaster quest. After the Tower of Life quest, players can use an eye of newt with a feather in the Creature Creation activity to make a newtroost. A newtroost always drops 4 to 10 eyes of newt.

Eye of newt is tradeable and can be noted. It is not stackable and cannot be worn. Monsters like banshees, cave crawlers, ghasts, and zombies can drop it. Herblore shops in places like Port Sarim, Taverley, Entrana, and Arceuus sell eye of newt packs that hold 100 eyes each.

Eye of newt is a cheap and useful item for players who want to train Herblore or finish quests fast.
