Description

The Fangs of Venenatis are a rare item in Old School RuneScape. They come from a matriarch spider and seem to hold a piece of her power. This is a members item tied to the Wilderness.

The fangs have one main use. Players combine them with Craw's bow to make the webweaver bow. This upgrade needs level 85 Fletching. Players who do not have that level can ask Derse Venator in Ferox Enclave to do it for a fee of 500,000 coins. The uncharged bow can also be taken apart later to get the bow and fangs back.

The fangs drop from two Wilderness bosses. Venenatis, a level 464 boss, drops them at a rate of 1 in 196. Spindel, a level 302 boss, drops them at a rate of 1 in 618. Those drop rates make the fangs hard to get by hunting the bosses yourself.

The item is tradeable and can be noted, but it does not stack and cannot be worn. It weighs 2 kg and its item ID is 27670. This is a strong pick for any player who wants a top ranged weapon for Wilderness fights.
