Description

The Fishing potion(2) is a two dose potion in Old School RuneScape. Each dose boosts your Fishing level by 3 for a short time. This helps you catch fish that are a few levels above your current skill. It is a members only item.

Players make this potion with Herblore. Adding snape grass to an avantoe potion (unf) at level 50 Herblore makes a Fishing potion(3) and gives 112.5 Herblore experience. The potion also drops from River trolls and from Zombies and Skeletons in Tarn's Lair. It can come from Apprentice potion packs too.

After Barbarian Herblore Training, you can add caviar to a Fishing potion(2) at level 53 Herblore. This makes a Fishing mix and gives 38 Herblore experience. The Fishing mix has 2 doses, boosts Fishing by 3, and heals 6 Hitpoints.

This potion is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack. It weighs 0.02 kg and fits in a tackle box for easy storage. The potion comes in 1, 2, 3, and 4 dose versions, so the (2) version gives you two boosts in one item.
