Giant krill is a members-only food item in Old School RuneScape. When you eat one, it restores 17 Hitpoints. This makes it a solid food choice for training, bossing, or any fight where you need to heal.

Players make giant krill by cooking raw giant krill on a fire or a cooking range. Cooking one needs level 69 Cooking and gives 177.5 experience when it works. There is a chance to burn it, but the burn rate drops as your Cooking level goes up. It stops burning at level 98 at the Hosidius Kitchen, or level 95 there with the elite Kourend and Kebos Diary done. Wearing a Cooking cape also stops all burning.

The raw fish comes from deep sea trawling. Catching it needs level 69 Fishing. It is found at giant krill shoals and shimmering shoals, and it can also show up at fish stalls in Port Roberts.

Giant krill is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to move and sell. It is not stackable and cannot be equipped. It weighs 0.65 kg and has item ID 32312. Buying giant krill gives you a strong healing food without the grind.
