The Gilded full helm is a gold-plated version of the rune full helm in Old School RuneScape. It is part of the gilded equipment set. It has the same stats as the rune full helmet, so the only real difference is the shiny gold look. You need 40 Defence to wear it.
This helm gives strong defence bonuses. It has +30 stab, +32 slash, +27 crush, and +30 ranged defence. It has -1 magic defence. Like most heavy helmets, it lowers your attack a bit, with -6 to magic and -3 to ranged attack. It weighs 2.721 kg.
The Gilded full helm is rare. It cannot be made with any skill. It only comes as a reward from hard, elite, and master tier Treasure Trails, and the drop rates are very low. That makes it a great pick for players who want to stand out and show off.
The helm came out on 26 October 2004. Since 19 May 2016, free-to-play players can use it too. If you want rune-level defence with a rich gold style, the Gilded full helm is a solid choice.
