Gold leaf is a Construction material in Old School RuneScape. It is a very delicate sheet of gold. Players use it to build many fancy items in a player-owned house. Each gold leaf used gives 300 Construction experience.

Gold leaf is needed for popular builds like the gilded altar, gilded portal nexus, ornate rejuvenation pool, and ornate jewellery box. It is also used for master STASH units. The lowest level build that uses it is the tip jar at level 40 Construction. The highest is the large orrery at level 95, which needs 5 gold leaves.

Players cannot make gold leaf. In game, it can be bought from the Stonemason in southwestern Keldagrim or from Metla at Stonecutter Outpost for 130,000 coins each. It is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack and cannot be worn. It weighs 1 kg.

Gold leaf is a smart pick for anyone training Construction or working on a high-end house. Big projects like the gilded altar need 4 gold leaves each, so having a supply ready saves time and gold.
