Description
The Grand seed pod is a single-use teleport item in Old School RuneScape. It takes you to the Grand Tree. The pods are stackable and weigh nothing, so they are easy to carry.
The pod has two right-click options. Launch can only be used outdoors. Captain Lamdoo appears with a glider and takes you to the top floor of the Grand Tree. Launching also gives 100 Farming experience. Squash is faster and drops you at the ground floor near King Narnode Shareen. It gives no experience and lowers your Farming level by 5 for a short time. You only need level 1 Farming to use the pod.
Most teleports stop working above level 20 Wilderness. The Grand seed pod works up to level 30 Wilderness. This makes it a strong escape item for players who go deep into the Wilderness.
The pod can also help on Ape Atoll. If you launch it ahead of time, Lamdoo can pick you up even while you are in combat, and he may save you from Kruk or other ninjas.
These pods come as a rare reward from the Gnome Restaurant minigame in stacks of 8 to 15.
