Grimy tarromin is a herb in Old School RuneScape. It is a tarromin that has not been cleaned yet. Its examine text says "It needs cleaning."

You need level 11 Herblore to clean a grimy tarromin. Cleaning it gives 5 Herblore experience. This makes it a simple way to train Herblore at low levels.

Once cleaned, the tarromin has good uses. At level 12 Herblore, you can use it to make Strength potions. At level 15 Herblore, you can make Serum 207. At level 39 Herblore, you can mix it with swamp tar to make tarromin tar.

Players can also grow grimy tarromins from a tarromin seed with a Farming level of 19. Some NPCs drop the herb as well. Buying the herb directly saves you the time it takes to farm or collect it.

The item is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to move around in bulk. It is not stackable and cannot be equipped. It weighs only 0.007 kg. Grimy tarromin is a solid pick for anyone training Herblore or stocking up on potion supplies.
