The Hemp seed is a Farming seed in Old School RuneScape. You plant it in a hops patch to grow hemp. You need level 37 Farming to use it, and each patch takes three seeds.

Hemp takes 80 minutes to grow. Planting gives 33 Farming XP, and each harvest gives 37 XP. A fully grown plant gives three or more hemp, and the yield can vary. A nearby gardener will watch the plants for a payment of 6 flax. Using compost lowers the chance of disease and boosts the yield. Magic secateurs and an attas plant in the anima patch can raise your harvest even more. The plant does not regrow after harvest.

Hemp seeds are members only, tradeable, and stackable, so they take up little space in your bank. They can be traded on the Grand Exchange. In the game world, they drop from sources like the Albatross, Osprey, Narwhal, Orca, Eagle ray, and salvage finds.
