The Ironwood sapling is a tree sapling in Old School RuneScape. Players use it to grow an ironwood tree. It needs level 80 Farming and goes in a hardwood tree patch. You need a spade in your inventory to plant it.
Planting the sapling gives 145 Farming experience. The tree takes about 3 days, 13 hours, and 20 minutes to fully grow. Checking the health of the grown tree gives a big reward of 20,380 Farming experience. This makes it a strong pick for players who want to train Farming.
Once the tree is mature, you can harvest it for an ironwood log, and the tree regrows. You can pay the nearby gardener 10 curry leaves to protect the tree from disease while it grows. The leaves can be noted. If you do not pay and the tree gets sick, you can prune it with secateurs.
The Ironwood sapling is tradeable and noteable, but it does not stack. It is members-only content and needs no quest to use. Skip the work of making saplings from seeds and plant this one right away.
