Description
The karambwan vessel is a fishing tool in Old School RuneScape. It is used to catch karambwan in the coastal waters of Karamja. Karambwan are a prized food on the island. They are fast, poisonous, and hard to trap, so this special vessel is the only way to catch them.
The vessel has a thin neck and a round body. A karambwan can climb in but cannot get back out. To fish with it, players load the vessel with raw karambwanji as bait. The karambwanji is the karambwan's favorite prey. Sometimes the karambwan steals the bait without being caught.
Catching karambwan requires level 65 Fishing. Players must first learn the method from Lubufu, an old fisherman near Brimhaven. The vessel is used at karambwan fishing spots in eastern Karamja, near the fairy ring with the code DKP. It also plays a part in the Tai Bwo Wannai Trio quest, where players pass the fishing secret to Tiadeche.
