Description
The Lava dragon mask is a rare cosmetic head item in Old School RuneScape. It comes as a possible reward from elite Treasure Trails. This mask is for members only, and it first came to the game on 12 June 2014.
The mask goes in the head slot. It gives no combat bonuses at all, so every attack and defence stat is +0. Players wear it to look cool, not to fight better. The mask shows the face of the Lava dragon as it looked before its graphical update in 2024. Its examine text asks, "Do I look scary?"
This mask is much harder to get than other dragon masks. It does not drop as normal casket loot. Instead, it comes from a mega-rare table found only in Elite caskets, with a drop rate of 1 in 14,662.5. That makes it a true rare item to own and show off.
The Lava dragon mask is tradeable and noteable. Players can also store it in the treasure chest of a costume room in their house. It weighs 2.267 kg and has the item ID 12371.
