Description
The Magic stone is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It is a building material used in the Construction and Sailing skills. Players use it to build very high level items in a player-owned house and on boats. It is also used to build bank chests on islands reached through Sailing.
Magic stones are needed for some of the best furniture in the game. One stone builds a Magic chest or an Occult altar. Two stones build a Lesser magic cage. The Crystal throne needs 15 stones, and the Demonic throne at level 99 needs 25 stones. Other builds include the Ancient altar, Dark altar, Lunar altar, Skeleton throne, and Magical cape rack.
In game, this stone is sold by the Stonemason in Keldagrim or by Metla in Stonecutter Outpost for 975,000 coins each. Buying stones from the marketplace helps players skip that big coin cost while training Construction.
The Magic stone is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to move and store. It is not stackable and cannot be worn. It weighs 1 kg. When a servant fetches it from the bank, it is listed as a Magic housing stone.
