The Mithril dagger is a fast stab weapon in Old School RuneScape. It is made of mithril and needs level 20 Attack to wield. Both members and free players can use it. It is a good early weapon for training melee thanks to its quick attack speed.

The dagger gives +11 stab attack, +5 slash, and +10 strength. It has four combat styles. Stab is accurate, lunge and slash are aggressive, and block is defensive. It can also be poisoned to deal extra damage over time.

It is the fifth strongest dagger in the game, with the adamant dagger being the next step up. Players with level 50 Smithing can make one at an anvil using a single mithril bar, which gives 50 Smithing experience.

In game, the dagger is sold at shops like the Varrock Swordshop and the Warrior Guild Armoury. It also drops from monsters such as cyclopes, zombie pirates, and the Moonlight Cockatrice. The item is tradeable and noteable, and it weighs very little, so it is easy to carry. Its examine text calls it a dangerous dagger.
