Description

The OSRS Mushroom comes from the Become a Mushroom task in the Trailblazer Reloaded League. This league came out in Old School RuneScape on November 15th, 2023. The task takes place in the Asgarnia region, a kingdom ruled by King Vallance and his helpers.

To finish the task, players must visit Malignius Mortifer. He is a necromancer who has been in the game since September 2005. He works with corpses. Sometimes he brings them back to life. Other times he grows fungus from their rotting flesh.

Mortifer does not like being bothered by adventurers. He knows a special curse that turns a person into a mushroom for a short time. To make him cast it, players just need to ask him about his clothes. Nothing can stop the curse. Not even the strongest magic shields or prayers will block it.

This task is a fun and simple one to check off during the Trailblazer Reloaded League. It gives players a good reason to explore Asgarnia, which also holds the holy island of Entrana, the Pest Control islands, and the northern troll lands, except for Weiss.
