Description

A Pie shell is a cooking item in Old School RuneScape. It is an empty shell that needs a filling. Players fill it to make a raw pie, then cook the pie on a range.

The shell works with many fillings. Add redberries for a berry pie at level 10 Cooking. Add cooked meat or cooked chicken for a meat pie at level 20. Add a cooking apple for an apple pie at level 30. Members can make even more pies. These include garden pie with a tomato, fish pie with a trout, mud pie with compost, botanical pie, mushroom pie, dragonfruit pie, admiral pie with a salmon, wild pie with raw bear meat, and summer pie with a strawberry at level 95.

Players can also make a pie shell by using pastry dough on a pie dish. This needs level 1 Cooking and takes only 1.2 seconds. Buying pie shells skips this step and saves time when training Cooking.

The Pie shell is tradeable and noteable. It is not stackable and cannot be worn. It weighs 0.25 kg. On the Grand Exchange, the buy limit is 13,000 every 4 hours.
