Description

The OSRS Pineapple is a members only fruit in Old School RuneScape. It was released on 15 August 2002. You cannot eat it whole. You need a knife to cut it up first.

Slicing one pineapple gives 4 pineapple rings. Dicing it gives one serving of pineapple chunks. Each ring and each serving of chunks heals 2 Hitpoints. Pineapple chunks are also an ingredient in gnome cooking. Make sure you have inventory space when slicing, or the rings will drop to the ground.

Pineapples are a cheap and easy way to make supercompost in a compost bin. This makes them very useful for Ironman accounts. Cooks use them too. Mixed blast needs 1 pineapple at level 6 Cooking. Mixed punch needs 2 pineapples at level 8 Cooking. Both give 30 Cooking XP.

Farmers use 10 pineapples as payment for papaya trees. Pineapples grow near Brimhaven and on pineapple plants, which need 51 Farming to grow. They are also sold at Trader Stan's Trading Post and at the Grand Tree grocery shops. Each pineapple weighs 0.15 kg.
