The Pirate's hook is a fun members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It goes in the glove slot and gives your character a classic pirate look. It is a reward from the Brimhaven Agility Arena, where you can buy it from Pirate Jackie the Fruit for 800 agility arena tickets.

The hook gives small defence bonuses to stab, slash, and crush. All attack bonuses are +0, so most players want it for style, not combat power. It weighs only 0.3 kg and is both tradeable and noteable.

Players who have finished the Cabin Fever quest can take the hook to Patchy. For 500 coins, he will combine it with a crab claw to make a crabclaw hook. Note that the pirate's hook cannot be stored in a player-owned house.

Earning 800 tickets at the agility arena takes over 13 hours of play. Players who have finished the elite Karamja diary have a 10% chance to earn double tickets, which cuts down the time. Buying the hook is a quick way to skip that long grind and get this rare pirate item right away.
