Description
The pot lid is a members item in Old School RuneScape. Its main use is simple. You put a pot lid on a pot to make an airtight pot. Airtight pots are needed in two quests, One Small Favour and Swan Song. A pot lid can also be combined with a pot to make breathing salts.
Players can make a pot lid by using soft clay on a potter's wheel and then firing the unfired lid in a pottery oven. This needs partial completion of One Small Favour. At lower Crafting levels the unfired lid can crack in the oven, which destroys it. Pot lids also drop from Zombies in Tarn's Lair at a rate of 5 in 128.
The pot lid is tradeable and noteable, so it is easy to buy, sell, and store. It is not equipable or stackable and weighs only 0.198 kg. Buying a pot lid saves time on clay work and oven trips. It is a handy pick for players who want to move through One Small Favour or Swan Song without extra crafting steps.
