Description
Potatoes(10) is a full sack of potatoes in Old School RuneScape. It holds ten potatoes, the most a sack can carry. The examine text tells you how many potatoes are inside.
A full sack of potatoes is a requirement for the Enlightened Journey quest. One sack of potatoes is also needed to protect growing onions in the Farming skill. This makes the sack a handy item for farmers who do not want to lose their crops.
The potatoes inside are useful too. Raw potatoes heal 1 hitpoint when eaten. They are also used in many cooking recipes. You can make a baked potato, stew, curry, veg ball, or fish pie with them. Admiral and regular fish pies even give a temporary boost to your Fishing level. Potatoes can also go into a compost bin to make regular compost.
To take potatoes out, right click the sack and remove one at a time. You can also hold shift and click the sack to empty as many potatoes as your inventory can hold, if shift-click drop options are on. The full sack weighs 4.9 kg.
