The Rosewood sapling is a Farming item in Old School RuneScape. You need level 92 Farming to plant it. It grows into a rosewood tree, which gives rosewood logs when you chop it.

Plant the sapling in a hardwood tree patch with a spade in your inventory. Planting gives 252 Farming experience. The tree takes up to 5,760 minutes, or 4 days, to fully grow. When you check the health of the grown tree, you get 23,100 Farming experience, or 23,677.5 with the full farmer's outfit.

You can pay the nearby gardener 8 dragonfruit to protect the tree from disease while it grows. The payment can be noted. If a tree gets sick and you do not treat it, it can die. You can prune a diseased tree with secateurs to remove the disease.

Rosewood trees regrow, so you can keep harvesting logs from the same tree. The sapling is tradeable and noteable, and it came to the game with the Varlamore content. It is a strong pick for players who want big Farming experience at high levels and a steady source of rosewood logs.
