Buy OSRS Rum (red)

Description

Rum (red) is a drink item in Old School RuneScape. It comes from the Trouble Brewing minigame on Mos Le'Harmless. Players can buy it from Honest Jimmy for 20 pieces of eight, and it is also tradeable on the Grand Exchange.

This rum works as a one-time teleport. When a player drinks it, their character gets drunk and passes out. They wake up outside the Trouble Brewing lobby. This makes it a handy way to get back to the minigame fast. The rum cannot be used past level 20 Wilderness. Drinking it while already at Trouble Brewing gives a message saying it is not worth it there.

When drunk, the red rum makes the player shout "Oh gods! It tastes like burning!" Rum also comes in a blue version, and both colors do the same thing.

In the minigame, rum is made with five buckets of water and three bowls of red water. Red water comes from putting red flowers in a kettle. Each bottle also needs one sweetgrub and one piece of scrapey tree bark. Unlike most drinks in the game, the bottle shows in the player's hand while they drink it.
