Rune platelegs (g) are a gold-trimmed version of regular Rune platelegs in Old School RuneScape. They are part of the rune gold-trimmed armour set and come from hard Treasure Trails. You need level 40 Defence to wear them. This item cannot be made with the Smithing skill, which makes it a rare find.

These platelegs have the same stats as normal Rune platelegs. They give strong defence bonuses, with +51 to Stab, +49 to Slash, +47 to Crush, and +49 to Ranged. They have small penalties of -4 to Magic defence, -21 to Magic attack, and -11 to Ranged attack. They weigh 9.071 kg.

Many players buy Rune platelegs (g) for the gold trim look. The armour works the same in combat, but the trim makes your character stand out. You can also store the platelegs in the treasure chest of a costume room in your player-owned house as part of the rune gold-trimmed set. Ultimate Ironmen cannot take out single pieces until the full set is stored. If you want solid mid-level leg armour with a sharp gold look, this is a great pick.
