Description
The shield left half is the left half of the dragon square shield in Old School RuneScape. It is a rare item that drops from many monsters through the rare drop table. Wearing a ring of wealth raises the chance of getting one from that table.
Skotizo has the best drop rate at 1 in 100, and it is the only monster with the shield left half on its standard drop table. Goraks in the Gorak Plane can also drop it at a rate of 1 in 243.75 with a ring of wealth, after Fairytale II - Cure a Queen and Legends' Quest are complete. The intricate pouch from Guardians of the Rift can also contain one.
Players join the left half with the shield right half to make a dragon square shield. This needs level 60 Smithing and gives 75 Smithing experience. Siegfried Erkle sells the right half in the Legends Guild Shop of Useful Items for 750,000 coins. Making the shield in West Ardougne is a hard task in the Ardougne Diary.
The item weighs 2.721 kg. Both halves look like parts of a kiteshield, even though they form a square shield when joined.
