Description
The Sinister key is a members-only item in Old School RuneScape. It opens the sinister chest in the Yanille Agility dungeon. The chest sits north of the Chaos Altar, in a part of the dungeon that needs 49 Agility to reach. The key is used up when it opens the chest.
Each chest gives nine noted grimy herbs. You get 3 ranarr weeds, 2 harralanders, 1 irit leaf, 1 avantoe, 1 kwuarm, and 1 torstol. If you clean the herbs and turn them all into potions, one key can give between 747 and 1345 Herblore experience. The amount depends on which potions you make.
The chest lets out a toxic gas when opened, so it is smart to bring an antipoison. If you enter the dungeon through the house in Yanille, you will need a lockpick.
The torstol from each chest makes this key popular with early game ironmen. They can trade torstols to the Dr Jekyll random event for stamina potions and build a rejuvenation pool without level 77 Herblore. The key is tradeable, noteable, not stackable, and weighs only 0.01 kg.
