Description
The Skeletal visage is a rare item in Old School RuneScape. It drops from Vorkath, a level 732 boss, at a rate of 1 in 5,000. The item is for members only. It can be traded and noted, but it cannot be worn or stacked. It weighs 1.814 kg.
The visage has one big use. Players can attach it to an anti-dragon shield to make a dragonfire ward. This takes level 90 Smithing, which can be boosted. You also need a hammer. Making the shield gives 2,000 Smithing experience.
If your Smithing level is too low, there is another way. Take the visage to Oziach in Edgeville. He will make the shield for you if you pay 1,250,000 coins. You must finish the quest Dragon Slayer I before Oziach will help.
The dragonfire ward is a strong shield for fighting dragons, so many players want a Skeletal visage. Getting one from Vorkath takes a lot of luck. Buying the visage lets you skip the long grind and make your shield right away.
