The Snakeskin body is a piece of ranged armor in Old School RuneScape. It is worn in the body slot and is made from 100% real snakeskin. To wear it, a player needs level 30 Ranged and level 30 Defence. It is a members-only item.

This body gives a Ranged attack bonus of +12. It also gives solid defence bonuses, with +25 Stab, +28 Slash, +32 Crush, +15 Magic, and +35 Ranged. The trade-off is a small -5 Magic attack bonus. It weighs 6.803 kg. This makes it a good pick for low and mid level rangers who want extra protection while training.

Players with level 53 Crafting can make a Snakeskin body from 15 Snakeskin and 1 Thread. Making one gives 55 Crafting XP. Buying one instead skips the work of hunting snakes and crafting the hides.

The Snakeskin body can be stored in the armour case of a costume room as part of the snakeskin armour set. Ultimate Ironmen cannot take out single pieces until the full set is stored. The item ID for the Snakeskin body is 6322.
