The Swampbark armour set is a full set of magic armour in Old School RuneScape. It is a members-only item. The set includes the Swampbark helm, body, legs, boots, and gauntlets. You need 50 Magic and 50 Defence to wear it.
Swampbark armour is great for players who use bind spells. The helm, body, and legs each make bind spells last 2 ticks longer. Wear all three and your binds last 6 extra ticks. That means Bind holds a target for 8.4 seconds, Snare for 13.2 seconds, and Entangle for 18 seconds.
The set also protects well. Its melee defence is close to mithril armour, and its total Magic bonus is 11 higher than splitbark armour. All five pieces together give 79 slash defence, 83 crush defence, 96 magic defence, and 49 ranged defence, plus a magic defence bonus of 35.
The set is tradeable and can be noted. It weighs only 0.05 kg as a set, so it is easy to carry. You can also store the armour in a magic wardrobe in your player-owned house. This set is a solid pick for mid-level mages who want strong defence and longer binds.
