A mis-fortune from The Mighty Zoltan (12/17) is a note from RuneScape 3. It holds the twelfth of seventeen mis-fortunes. This one reads "Change isn't always good." Every mis-fortune starts with "The great Zoltan speaks!" and ends with a small disclaimer that says "All fortunes are final and cannot be returned. Terms and conditions apply."

The note comes from The Mighty Zoltan machine at the Spring Fayre. The machine sits in Lumbridge Crater, east of the main stage. It is open to free-to-play players. The item was added to the game on 24 April 2017. The machine is based on the Zoltar machine from the 1988 film Big.

Using the machine gives a small amount of Divination experience. At level 99 it gives 69.9 XP per mis-fortune, or 76.8 XP during a Happy Hour. You need one free inventory slot to use it. Duplicates of the same mis-fortune can appear.

This note is a fun keepsake for players who like RS3 holiday event items. It is part of a full set of seventeen, but collecting all of them does not unlock a title.
