Description

The acne potion is a fun old item in RuneScape 3. Its examine text says, "This is meant to be good for spots." It was added to the game on 4 January 2001 and was first called just "Potion." It got its new name on 23 March 2015.

In the game, players can ask the Apothecary in Varrock for a free sample. He gives out the potion about half the time. Imps can also drop it. The potion may be needed for the Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf quest, so it is handy to have one ready.

The acne potion also has a silly side. Use it on certain people in Sophanem, like the slaves, the High Priest, the priests, Raetul, Siamun, and the embalmer, and you get bonus dialogue. Use it on a plague cow and the game says "Moo."

The potion is tradeable and very light at 0.025 kg. It can also be noted or disassembled. It is a small item with a bit of history and some hidden jokes, which makes it a nice pick for collectors and quest players alike.
