The adamant kiteshield is a tier 40 melee shield in RuneScape 3. You need level 40 Defence to wear it. It fits in the shield slot and gives 125.6 armour. It also gives a 4% damage reduction against monsters. This makes it a solid pick for players training combat at mid levels.
The shield is very light at 0.01 kg, so it will not weigh you down. It can be upgraded at a forge and anvil. With 2 more adamant bars, it becomes an adamant kiteshield +1 at tier 41 with 129.6 armour. With 4 more bars after that, it becomes a +2 shield at tier 42 with 133.6 armour.
Players who like Treasure Trails may know the fancy versions of this shield. Heraldic and trimmed variants come from level 2 clue scrolls, and players cannot trim kiteshields themselves. The plain shield can also be disassembled for parts like cover parts, base parts, and deflecting parts, with a small chance at strong or protective components.
