The Adamant med helm is a tier 40 melee helmet in RuneScape 3. It is tank armour that fills the head slot. You need level 40 Defence to wear it. The helm gives 125.6 armour, a 400 life points bonus, 0.8% damage reduction against monsters, and 1.5% damage reduction in PvP. It is a free-to-play item, so any player can use it.

This helm has a fun bit of history too. It is the only helmet in the game that kept the old medium helmet look, with a red line across it.

Smiths can make this helm at a forge and anvil with 2 adamant bars at level 40 Smithing, earning 340 experience. It can also be upgraded. The +1 version uses 4 bars in total and gives 129.6 armour. The +2 version uses 8 bars in total and gives 133.6 armour at tier 42.

The helm is tradeable, lendable, and noteable. It can also be disassembled for melee armour materials like Cover parts, Plated parts, and Protective components. At only 0.01 kg, it adds almost no weight to your load.
