Description

The Adamant platebody (h4) is a heraldic version of the adamant platebody in RuneScape 3. It has a bold heraldic design on the chest, but its stats are the same as the plain adamant platebody. That makes it a cosmetic item for players who want a different look at the same power level.

This is a melee tank armour piece for the body slot. It is tier 40 and needs level 40 Defence to wear. It gives 144 armour, plus 0.8% damage reduction against monsters and 2.4% in player versus player combat. It is a free-to-play item, and it is tradeable and noteable.

Heraldic armour cannot be made with the Smithing skill, and players cannot paint or decorate it. It comes from medium reward caskets in Treasure Trails. The platebody is part of a set with a full helmet, kiteshield, and platelegs. Players need the whole set to store it in a player-owned house armour case.

The platebody can also be disassembled for Invention. It always gives one Fortunate component and can give Cover parts, Plated parts, Deflecting parts, Strong components, or Protective components.
